Changes in Daylight Saving Time
The U.S. Congress has ordered changes to the dates of Daylight Saving Time (DST). Devices that are powered by the Microsoft® Windows Mobile® version 5.0 software, or Windows Mobile 2003 software for Pocket PCs ("Windows Mobile-based software") require an update to correctly adjust the time. This update is provided free of charge from Microsoft.
The Changes
Old Dates
Previously, DST started on the first Sunday in April, and ended on the last Sunday in October.
New Dates
With the new law, DST in 2007 and subsequent years will start on the second Sunday in March (for 2007, March 11) and end on the first Sunday in November (for 2007, November 4).
Updates for Devices powered by Windows Mobile-Based Software
Microsoft has developed the following updates for the DST 2007 changes:
• Microsoft Windows Operating Systems Update
• Daylight Saving Time 2007 Update Tool (for
  Windows Mobile devices)
• Outlook Time Zone Update Tool

Trimble recommends you follow the instructions there, and apply all of the DST 2007 updates to your desktop and devices powered by the Windows Mobile-based software.
