NEW GeoExplorer 2005 OS v5.1.15 RELEASE!

New Features:
        • Updated touch screen driver resolving issues occasionally seen where the touch screen became unresponsive in
              temperatures near freezing point or with the screen protector applied.
            • An issue introduced in the version 5.1.14 operating system relating to "?" wildcard search operations on the internal
              file system has been resolved in the version 5.1.15 operating system.

The version 5.1.15 operating system incorporates the following changes that were made in the version 5.1.14 operating system:
        • Improvements to the file system. This includes a disk caching system to improve performance.
        • You can now program the soft keys to run a selected application, act as an OK/Close or scroll button, launch the
          Context
          menu or Input panel, or return to the Today screen.
        • Minor improvements to the 802.11 wireless networking drivers to improve performance and connection reliability.
        • The backlight now turns off correctly after the pre-configured time when the TerraSync™ software and other
          applications are running.
        • You can now access files that were open in an application on an SD card after you resume operations from Suspend
          mode.

Entitlement
        • If you are running an earlier version of the Microsoft Windows Mobile Version 5.0 operating system, the upgrade is free
          of charge.

Installation Instructions:
        • This upgrade can only be installed on handhelds with the v5.1.13 or v5.1.14 operating system installed. If a previous
           version of the operating system is currently installed, v5.1.3 must be installed prior to running this update. To check
           what operating system version is installed on your handheld, select Start > Settings > System > System Information.
        • Connect your GeoExplorer 2005 series handheld to your PC using ActiveSync.
        • Download the file to your desktop computer.
        • Transfer the file to your GeoExplorer 2005 device.
        • Run the file on the device to update the operating system.
